North Sails becomes official supplier of the Vendée Arctique 2022
For several years now, North Sails has enjoyed a high level of recognition among those involved in ocean racing by offering sailors not only cutting-edge technology, but also know-how and a group of enthusiasts dedicated to the design, development and monitoring of projects.
This expertise, acquired over more than 60 years, is the foundation of the company's spirit, the very spirit that encourages it to constantly push back its limits, just like sailors in search of new challenges. This approach has enabled the company to become the leader in its sector (first computer-designed sails, first moulded membrane sails with the 3DL, first and only moulded sails in filamentary composite with the 3Di) and to take up the most ambitious challenges alongside the biggest teams: numerous round-the-world records in solo, crewed, monohull and multihull, winners of the most prestigious competitions including the last three editions of the Vendée Globe (IMOCA), the Transat Jacques Vabre, the Route du Rhum, the America's Cup, the Ocean Race... without forgetting the first edition of the Arctic Vendée in 2020.
North Sails has also a strong presence on a multitude of water surfaces and supports, from Optimist to Ultim, with the same passion and the same rigour.
