Building on the success of the 9th edition in 2020, SAEM Vendée is organising the first qualifying race for the 2024 Vendée Globe: the Vendée Arctique - Les Sables d'Olonne.

The aim of this race will be to launch the qualification campaign for the Vendée Globe 2024 in a festive atmosphere for the people of Vendée.  

The SAEM Vendée

The SAEM Vendée is a Société Anonyme d'Economie Mixte, set up in 2003, which organises the Vendée Globe, an ocean race that takes place every four years. She now organises also the Vendée Arctique.

The company's head office is in La Roche-sur-Yon, Vendée. The shareholders of SAEM Vendée are local authorities: the Departmental Council, the City of Les Sables d'Olonne and the Pays de la Loire Region, as well as 32 companies from the Vendée economic world.
